Shao Ping and I went for a walk along Bulli Beach. We stopped for a cuppa on the sand and took some photographs as well. There was an onshore breeze and the skies were mostly overcast. The rock platform at Bulli Point features some remarkable colours and formations. I shall allow the photographs to speak for themselves
The choppy waves broke on the rock platform and the smell of the sea was quite nice. It was neither warm or cold this afternoon. It was nice just to sit there and to watch the waves, the surfers and others walking along the beach
A blue-bottle jellyfish (“Portuguese Man o’ War“) was washed ashore. I have been stung by those a few times in my lifetime. Rather nasty. The long, trailing stinger wraps around your body and limbs leaving red, inflamed trails of reddish welts on your skin.
