I
visited Kanchanaburi and the Bridge on the River Kwai in
Thailand during October, 2003. This is the site of the infamous
Thai-Burma railway or Death Railway as it is also known.
My father worked on this railway as a prisoner of
the Imperial Japanese Army during the Second World War. |
