Singapore Visit 19th April 2004 |
|
Photographs
around Singapore. That is the new National Library being
construted in the distance. I took some photographs through
the taxi window as it went along the PIE, Clememti Avenue
6 and Holland Road. If you look closely at the flats in image
11 they have large trees painted on the walls. I love
the audacious numbering of the block in image
14. Go
to April 11th | 13th | 16th | 17th | 19th | 20th |
Had coffee
and dinner with Siva, Airani and other friends in Holland
Village, a ghetto for expatriates. We ended up in Starbucks.
Airani needed to use her Palm. See the images below. Later
I took a few photographs around Holland Village. Change is
in the air. They are modernising the place. It will lose
its charm if this change continues. |
